dedicated to Charlotte Beck, who this song is about. She heard all of these songs sent over google drive first from SCAD and helped me build my confidence in my writing :)

The song contains a reference to the song I Felt Your Shape by the Microphones, in a line contemplating ways to show my affection. We both love that song and it's about giving a hug, so I thought it was fitting.

The outro was inspired by the songs I Want Wind to Blow and the title track the Glow, pt. 2, both with wonderful rich vamp outros that give the songs such wonderful vibes. So in a way, this is also a tribute to Phil Elverum. Thanks for the music, Phil!!!
